Lewis Dickenson

Lewis first began playing guitar at the age of 8 years old casually after being fascinated by his fathers impressive effects pedal board. He played casually for a few years until being shown the work of various jazz artists - especially Django Reinhardt. After that point Lewis spent countless hours playing, mastering his technique and building repertoire in all genres.

He now tours constantly playing a mixture or Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, Funk, Pop, Blues, Latin, Folk and modern finger style guitar.

Lewis also took up the double bass along the way and can often be found swapping his guitar for an upright and laying down solid grooves.

Over the subsequent years Lewis developed a distinctive style which has led to him play on recordings alongside artists such as; Brett Garsed, Hank Marvin, Ben Travers, Paulus Schafer, Paul Gilbert, Stian Carstensen, Derek Jones, Pete Lesperance and Michael Paouris as well as appearing at internationally renowned festivals like Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, March Manouche, The Vintage Escape Festival/IGGF, Swansea International Jazz Festival as well performing at countless jazz clubs and restaurants. He has also appeared on local and international TV, being interviewed on "That's Manchester" and providing music and performing on Channel 4's hit show "Come Dine with Me." Additionally he has toured the UK & Ireland, USA and Europe.

Lewis's main focus along side touring solo and in various bands as a session player is with his band "Lewis & Dav."

Along side his touring, Lewis also teaches a wide variety of students on electric and acoustic guitar and double bass in all genres.

David Libson

Dav was born into a musical family, with his mother a professional pianist and his father a recording engineer, he was surrounded by music from a very early age. At the age of eight Dav picked up the cello and very quickly showed a natural ability with the instrument. By fourteen he had reached grade eight and mastered the Bach cello suites, but rock and roll beckoned! He dropped the cello in favour of the guitar, and within a year was already writing songs and performing. After seeing the supergroup "Toto" live in 2011, he developed an interest in session work, and became obsessed with the high level of musicianship required for such work. He has since performed as both a guitarist and bassist for numerous artists in front of thousands of people. Dav's main focus now is on performing and recording as part of "Lewis & Dav".
